The Allendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps established a scholarship in 2001 to recognize students who have provided extraordinary service to the community. The scholarship is available to residents of Allendale and Saddle River who are between the ages of 17 and 21 years old and who will will be full time students at an accredited college or university for the academic year beginning September 2008.  Preference is given to descendants of active, associate or life members of the Allendale Ambulance Corps. Scholarships will also be available to members of any age who will be taking courses at accredited colleges or universities toward a degree.

The Ambulance Corps Scholarship Committee will be accepting applications for the scholarship until June 1, 2008.  The Committee may award up to $2,000 to the successful applicant or applicants during the 2008 - 2009 academic year.
